Roberts Impact Investing Fund Donate

Revolt Energy LLC is a West Virginia–based solar developer expanding its residential and commercial installation crews across Central Appalachia, including West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky.

The Appalachian Growth Fund provided a $210,000 working capital loan to support the acquisition of the business and fuel its continued growth. Revolt Energy hires graduates from Coalfield Development’s solar training program, creating permanent jobs for individuals with justice system involvement, mental health or substance use challenges, and opportunity youth. Through its partnership with Coalfield’s Empowered Employer Network, the company is strengthening workforce pathways while expanding access to clean energy across the region.
