Our Circle

Our Circle LLC is reimagining Leimert Park, Los Angeles, through neighborhood-focused development, construction, and investment that creates jobs for residents overcoming steep barriers to employment, including returning from incarceration or experiencing homelessness. Our Circle organizes development projects through its subsidiary Community Labs, and designs and constructs the properties through its subsidiary Akin.

In partnership with IBank and NorCal FDC, RIIF provided $400,000 in revenue-based financing to help Our Circle hire senior construction leaders, like a chief construction officer and field project manager, to oversee multiple projects across Los Angeles. This support helps keep projects on track, creates and preserves about 30 local jobs, and opens the door to apprenticeship programs, small business growth, and paths to economic power.
