Goodwill SOLAC

Our enterprises operate under the Goodwill SOLAC name rather than separate brands:Retail and Donated Goods Operations. Over 20 donation centers and thrift stores across the region. Revenue funds workforce programs, store positions function as transitional and entry level employment for program participants, and a Career Center is being added at each store location.Language Services. Professional interpretation in 35 languages for local hospitals, schools, and businesses.Janitorial Services. Contracted custodial and facilities maintenance crews staffed by program participants, including individuals with disabilities. Current work includes a City of Carson contract providing bus stop cleaning and maintenance across public transit locations. Crews work with on site supervision and job coaching, giving participants paid employment and transferable skills that lead to outside placement. Goodwill SOLAC is currently pursuing approval as an AbilityOne provider through SourceAmerica to expand this line into federal contracting.
