Roberts Impact Investing Fund Donate

Black Mountain Handyman has been a trusted partner to homeowners since 2018, providing licensed and insured repair, maintenance, and renovation services across Western North Carolina.

The Appalachian Growth Fund provided $540,000 to support the purchase of the business by its long-time operators, transitioning the company into employee ownership and keeping leadership, jobs, and economic benefits local. The investment preserves 11 jobs, including 9 full-time positions with competitive wages, and continues to provide opportunities for individuals in recovery and others facing employment barriers, with on-the-job training and cross-training across trades.
