Abigail Freshley is a manager on the government partnerships & policy team supporting the Back 2 Work Initiative. In this role, Abigail supports the Butte County Office of Education in their operation of a statewide partnership with Caltrans to provide Californians facing steep barriers to employment with temporary work beautifying California roadways. Abigail supports the Back 2 Work program through communications, policy development, program development, and technical support.
Abigail brings experience in policy advocacy, program management, and public administration to her role at Redefine Alliance. Most recently, Abigail was the senior policy manager for Public Health Advocates, where she worked to address broad systemic issues facing disinvested communities in California through local and statewide policy campaigns.
She earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, where she lived for many years before re-locating to Los Angeles. In her free time, Abigail loves to read and hike with her dog, Bonnie.
